It has been 10 years!

Today marks our 10 year Wedding Anniversary!

I can hardly believe that it has been 10 whole years!

Look at us back then...

10 Year Timeline Together, well 12 years really.

1999---Mike and Patty first met in May of 1999, and were engaged on Christmas Eve!!!!!

2000---Mike moved up near Mount Pleasant, MI to be closer to Patty as she went to CMU.

2001---Mike and Patty were married at St. Paul Lutheran Church on October 27, 2001.

2002---Mike and Patty vacationed in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico at the Reef Club Resort.

2003---Mike and Patty...I have no idea what happened this year, I can't remember.

2004---Patty graduates from CMU, ready to teach and become a larger family. :)

2005---Mike and Patty bought their first house together.

2006---Mike and Patty welcomed their first baby girl! Hi Kate :)

2007---Mike, Patty and Kate dress up as a Farmer, Farmer's Wife and a Cow for Halloween.

2008---Mike and Patty welcomed their second child, a boy! Hi Nick :)

2009---Mike and Patty vacationed in Las Vegas and LA without kids!

2010---Mike is busy working and being a Daddy and Patty is busy being a Mommy.

2011---Mike and Patty celebrate 10 years together.

...and look at us now!

10 years later with a beautiful family!

Who could ask for anything more?

I have been truly blessed!

My wish is for many many many many 10 more years to come!

Fall Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

It is not very often that Mike and I get to hang out with just Nick and go somewhere fun...without Kate. 

Today we got to do just that!  Nick had his very first field trip to Andy T's pumpkin patch with his pre-school today and Mike and I both got to join him!

I have to admitt it was a little strange having one less kid to keep track of.

We got to feet the goats.

Get pictures taken in the stand-up cut outs.  Nick was a little confused by this until I showed him the picture on my camera.

So what did you do last night?

This is what I did!
Can anyone guess how many? No counting allowed! Just guess, I will send you on a trip to East Lansing to help blow up 500 more if you are right! HAHAHA

I sat in my living room and watched 2 hours of Kim Kardashian's Fairytale wedding while blowing up 300-5inch gold balloons, then placing them on plastic sticks and adding blue ribbon to each stick. 

Luckily I had a handy-dandy little balloon inflator so I didn't keel over and die from blowing them all up myself.

I also had one of my best friends help me out, so the time went by fast.

Hi Carly!! You are probably gonna kill me when you see this, but as always, you are georgeous even at 10 O'Clock at night in your jammies!

This weekend is the BIG MSU vs. MICHIGAN game in East Lansing.  The Campus Den ordered these balloons as well as 500 green and white balloons to be delivered by this Thursday to be ready for game day.

So it looks like Carly and I have a date Tuesday and Wednesday night too, to finish these up, unless you guessed right?

300 DONE, only 500 TO GO!

Ok, here's the last post about our trip in the Outer Banks last month.  I am ready to move on to all things FALL! (Fall is my favorite season!)

It is tradition that while on vacation in the OBX we always schedule a professional photographer to take our family's pictures on the beach to help capture our family at that particular moment.  This year we went with Jean Cubin, photographer and owner of A Photo Moment. 

I just now received the disc of 244 pictures, so take a minute to go to the bathroom, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show!

 

Nah, just kidding, I wouldn't do that to ya, but I am gonna post a few of my favorite pics of my family.

 Most of the family was able to stay for the Monday morning photoshoot, but there were several that could not stay, we sure miss them in the pictures, and it was certainly not the same without Grandma in them.

UPDATE!!!!!

Well, after I have uploaded all of the pictures onto my blog in the CORRECT orientation, when they are viewed, most of the pictures are rotated wrong!!! SO ANNOYING!! I have tried every trick that I know to fix the problem, but it is not working!! So, I guess I am just gonna have to ask you to turn your computer screen or ipad to accomidate.

Sorry, I know it sucks :(
