Halloween 2011

We had the most fun EVER this Halloween!

The kids are finally old enough to be excited about Halloween and do things on their own.
Kate cleaning out her own pumpkin and drawing the face with Daddy.  Nick wanted nothing to do with cleaning it out.  I made him touch the pumpkin guts once, and he hated it and said, "ucky, ucky!"
Not a fan of pumpkin guts!

The finished pumpkins.

The kids helped me make a Halloween chex mix this year for each of their classroom Halloween Parties.
Thanks for the idea Pinterest!

The kids ready for Trick-or-Treating.
Kate was a glow in the dark pink skeleton.
Nick was a firefighter.
Kate RAAAAAN as fast as her 5 year old legs could carry her from house to house.  Nick tried to keep up, but got tired.  Both kids totally got the hang of going up to stangers houses with their front porch lights on and saying "Trick-or-Treat!! "Thank you!!!"
Now run run run to the next house!

Kate- "MOM!!!!, OH MY GOSH!!! I can see 1,2,3,4,5,  5 houses in a row with their light on, lets go!"

And, Oh, the fun of dumping your candy bucket on the floor as soon as you get home to see all of the delicious treats, all right before bed!
Kate was a little befuttled when she recieved a bag of pretzels at a house.
"Mom, Pretzels?" In a very annoyed voice.
