Per usual, both kids woke-up at 6:53am. I was still extremely tired from the night and wanted to continue sleeping, but I wasn't that lucky. I got up and stumbled my way out to the livingroom while both kids requested their normal morning must haves. Nick wanted some "c-real peas" (cereal please) and Kate wanted her morning milk. Of course, the first thing I wanted to do was look out the window to see if the blizzard really came, so the three of us looked out the window and saw all of the beautiful blowing snow. Sure enough, the blizzard had hit, kinda. I think they were projecting much more snow then what we actually got, but we did get enough to have a snow day, and maybe enough to have 2 snow days, we will see tomorrow!
If you were trapped in because of the snow what did you do? Come back later tonight to find out what we did this morning!
We have been inside for two days now. I think that my oldest daughter will have school tomorrow. Yesterday was a laid back, enjoy the snow day kind of day. Today, we made some origami (spelling), did some coloring projects and some Valentine's projects. I can't wait to see what you guys did!
ReplyDeleteMSU actually cancelled all classes for the first time in decades! I preceded to lock myself out of my friend's apartment that I am staying at while she is out of town. Of course, the neighbor didn't have a spare key and the land lord was snowed it. Needless to say, I had to have a locksmith come out and pick the lock... what fun!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you would have to drive to St. Johns to day.
ReplyDeleteWe had all of 1-2" of snow and 8F temperature here. And the city shut down! That included electric rotating blackouts because some of the machinery in the generating plants froze. Can you believe that! And, the border closed temporarly,so, no work for me.
